Reflecting its membership from across the health care spectrum, the Personalized Medicine Coalition recently elected five new board members from multiple sectors of the health care ecosystem to help guide the future development of its educational, advocacy, and research programs.

The new members include Brian Caveney, M.D., Chief Medical & Scientific Officer, Labcorp; Helmy Eltoukhy, Ph.D., Chairman, Co-CEO, Co-Founder, Guardant Health; Steffan Ho, M.D., Ph.D., Vice President, Head of Translational Oncology and Oncology Diagnostics, Pfizer; James W. Lillard, Ph.D., Senior Associate Dean, Morehouse School of Medicine; and Joshua Ofman, M.D., President, Grail.

“The Coalition’s five new board members have distinguished themselves as key leaders in personalized medicine by working collaboratively to help pave the way for the future development of the field,” said PMC President Edward Abrahams. “We look forward to their counsel regarding our efforts to accelerate investment in personalized medicine and encourage the adoption of its principles in clinical settings.”
