Personalized Medicine and Cardiology: A Congressional Briefing
Rayburn House Office Building 45 Independence Avenue SW, WashingtonOn December 12, 2024, PMC and the Congressional Personalized Medicine Caucus co-hosted an educational briefing for Congressional staffers titled "Personalized Medicine and Cardiology." The briefing examined how advances in personalized medicine can improve the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases through the use of genetic information, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and targeted therapy. It also explored public policies that can best support this efficient and precise approach to patient care.
